  1. Fase de Campa\u00f1a<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Ambas facciones se alternan jugando una carta de su mano, hasta que se quedan sin cartas o se juega la 6\u00aa ronda de cartas para ambas facciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


    1) Cada facci\u00f3n registra en el marcador de Prestigio, los Puntos de Prestigio que suma por el control actual de Regiones y Electorados.
    2) Cada facci\u00f3n roba 6 cartas de su mazo de juego correspondiente para usar en la Fase de Campa\u00f1a, excepto si una facci\u00f3n tiene un Prestigio alto y la otra un Prestigio bajo, la facci\u00f3n con el Prestigio m\u00e1s alto nivel a\u00f1ade 1 una carta extra a su mano.
    \u2022 Al comienzo de la Fase de Campa\u00f1a del turno 1, a\u00f1ade al mazo de juego las cartas de Revoluci\u00f3n.
    \u2022 Al comienzo de la Fase de Campa\u00f1a del turno 4, a\u00f1ade al mazo de juego las cartas de Intervenci\u00f3n, y baraja el mazo de juego para formar un nuevo mazo de juego.
    \u2022 Al comienzo de la Fase de Campa\u00f1a del turno 7, a\u00f1ade al mazo de juego las cartas de Conclusi\u00f3n, y baraja el mazo de juego para formar un nuevo mazo de juego.

    3) Independientemente de si una facci\u00f3n tiene 6 o 7 cartas para jugar durante un turno, una facci\u00f3n puede jugar un m\u00e1ximo de 6 cartas cada turno.<\/p>\n\n\n

    1. Fase de Elecci\u00f3n Imperial (solo en los turnos 1 y 7)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      La Fase de Elecci\u00f3n Imperial, determina la facci\u00f3n que toma el control de la ficha de Emperador.
      1) Si una facci\u00f3n controla los 7 Electorados, esa facci\u00f3n recibe inmediatamente la ficha de Emperador.
      o-
      2) Si una facci\u00f3n no controla los 7 Electorados, procede a la Elecci\u00f3n Imperial:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      PASO 1: <\/strong>Cada facci\u00f3n determina los posibles modificadores (DRM), como se explica en la Tabla de Elecci\u00f3n Imperial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      PASO 2:<\/strong> Cada facci\u00f3n tira un dado de 10, y suma los posibles modificadores determinados previamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      PASO 3:<\/strong> Resta el resultado m\u00e1s alto del m\u00e1s bajo, para determinar el ganador.
      \u2022 El jugador con el resultado m\u00e1s alto, es el ganador.
      \u2022 En caso de que el resultado fuera el mismo para ambos jugadores, la facci\u00f3n que actualmente tiene la ficha de Emperador, la mantiene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      PASO 4:<\/strong> Determinar el efecto para el ganador:
      1) Recibe la ficha de Emperador.
      2) Sit\u00faa su nivel de Prestigio, en el primer espacio del nivel alto.
      3) Al final del juego, en caso de que no haya una victoria, la facci\u00f3n que tiene la ficha de Emperador gana 2 Puntos de Victoria adicionales.
      4) A\u00f1ade 2 Recursos, a la ficha de Recursos de su facci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El juego describe el per\u00edodo de 1567 a 1634, buscando reflejar la tensi\u00f3n y dificultades del traslado de tropas espa\u00f1olas a Flandes con 3 generales de la Monarqu\u00eda Hisp\u00e1nica (Duque de Alba, Ambrosio Sp\u00ednola y el Cardenal Infante Fernando).<\/p>\n\n\n

          1. Campaign Phase<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Both factions alternate playing a card from their hand, until they run out of cards or the 6th round of a turn is played.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


            1) Each faction records on the Prestige track, the Prestige Points that they have for the current Regions and Electorates control.
            2) Each faction draws 6 cards from their draw deck to use during the Campaign Phase, except if one faction has high Prestige and the other has low Prestige, in which case the faction with the highest Prestige level adds 1 extra card to its hand.
            \u2022 At the beginning of the Campaign Phase of turn 1, add the Revolution cards to the game deck.
            \u2022 At the beginning of the Campaign Phase of turn 4, add the Intervention cards to the game deck, and shuffle the game deck to form a new game deck.
            \u2022 At the beginning of the Campaign Phase on turn 7, add the Conclusion cards to the game deck, and shuffle the game deck to form a new game deck.

            3) Regardless of whether a faction has 6 or 7 cards to play during a turn, a faction can play a maximum of 6 cards each turn.

            1. Imperial Election Phase (only on turns 1 and 7)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              The Imperial Election Phase determines the faction that takes control of the emperor status and counter.
              1) If a faction controls the 7 Electorates, that faction immediately receives the emperor marker.
              OR-
              2) If a faction does not control all 7 Electorates, proceed to the Imperial Election:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              STEP 1:<\/strong> Each faction determines the possible modifiers (DRM), as explained in the Imperial Election Table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \u2022 Should the result be the same for both players, the faction that currently has the emperor status and marker keeps it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              STEP 4:<\/strong> Determine the effect on the winner:
              1) Receives the emperor marker.
              2) Place the faction Prestige level in the first space of the high level.
              3) At the end of the game, in case there is no victory, the faction that has the emperor marker, it gains 2 additional Victory Points.
              4) Add 2 Resources to the faction’s Resources marker.

                \u2018El Camino Espa\u00f1ol\u2019 game is designed especially for the Bellota Con VI Wargames and Historical Games Convention to be held between January 26 and 29, 2023 in Badajoz (Spain). The game\u2019 graphic art has been made by the well-renowned designer Nils Johansson. The game describes the period from 1567 to 1634, seeking to reflect the tension and difficulties to march Spanish troops (mainly the famous veterans \u2018Tercios\u2019) to Flanders, with 3 possible Spanish generals (Duke of Alba, Ambrosio Sp\u00ednola and Cardinal Infante Fernando).<\/p>\n\n\n
